Kurt Russell is an outstanding versatile American actor who made the characters he portrayed in films the most memorable ones. He has received multiple awards including nominations for Golden Globe and Emmy Awards for his outstanding acting talents.

Kurt Russell was born as Kurt Vogel Russell on March 17th, 1951 in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA. He is the son of a well-known dancer Louise Julia nee Crone and her husband Bing Russell, a famous Hollywood actor best known for his role deputy sheriff Clem Foster on "Bonanza" {1959} for 6 years.

Kurt Russell began his acting career as a child artist with a starring role in ABC television series "Sugarfoot" {9 episodes 1957-1958}. He made his debut in films as a child star in "It Happened at the World's Fair" in 1963. Kurt Russell has graduated from Thousand Oaks High School in the mid-1960s while performing in several television series like "The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters" {26 episodes 1963-1964} and has appeared as a guest star in a number of television soaps.

Kurt Russell had a ten-year contract with the Walt Disney productions and quickly rose to fame as the "studio's top star of the '90s." He appeared in several Disney Films such as "Follow Me, Boys!" {1966}, "The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band" {1968} with newcomer Goldie Hawn, "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" {1969}, and The Strongest Man in the World {1975}.
